The steps of the hCG diet are:
- Fat load before receiving your first hCG injection.
- Start the injections and a 3 or 6-week weight loss plan involving a 500-calorie-per-day diet. This diet omits oils, sugars, and alcohol and limits carbohydrates.
- After the plan concludes, gradually add foods back into your diet and up your calorie intake.
